1. How do I become a streamer?

Thank you for your interest in AniLive! If you would like to start streaming, please apply using the form below. We are gradually expanding our pool of streamers and excited to see you there too!

AniLive Streamer Application

※ If you don’t have a model and want to become a VTuber, please click ‘I don’t have a model yet’ to apply for the Jumpstart Program where we will offer you a character and educational materials.

※ If you are a VTuber with your own avatar, please click ‘I already have my own model’ and read through the journal to submit your application.

2. Do I need to submit my Live2D avatar data? Which data should I submit?

Currently, to stream on AniLive, your model file needs to align with our platform specifications.

If your rigger is able to make the adjustments on their end, we only need the normal live2d files ( texture folder, moc3, model3, physics3, etc).

However, if you need help with adjusting the model files to our specs, we will need both the cmo3 and the live2d files to edit your model data. Your .cmo3 will only be used to optimize your avatar display and will be deleted from our end after the adjustment is completed.

※The process above will only be required during the alpha testing phase of AniLive. In future versions of AniLive, we plan to implement a process that does not require the submission and manual adjustment of Live2D files.

3. May I know AniLive's security measures for my Live2D avatar assets?

The safety and security of your avatar data are our top priorities. We use encryption to ensure your information remains private and secure at all times. In addition, we have obfuscated our app code to mitigate potential risks.

4. I am concerned that my avatar data might be used as training data for generative AI.

We understand these concerns well. At AniLive, we only use avatar data for display purposes on the streaming screen and do not use it for any other purposes.

No data uploaded to AniLive or shared with the AniLive team will be used for machine learning or AI training.

Access to data files regarding Live2D models is restricted solely to developers directly involved in integrating avatars. Please rest assured that your avatar data will not be used as training data or for any usage in generative AI.

5. Do avatars need to be uploaded to the app?

AniLive is committed to providing a significantly lower latency streaming experience compared to other major platforms. We believe this will have a positive impact on community building and interaction. To achieve this low latency, we use a "motion data streaming method." This technology streams the avatar's movements instead of the video itself, requiring the avatar to be uploaded. This approach reduces data usage and ensures lossless video.
